Palace of Time (or Summer Memories)

Crystalline jet of a cornered ocean
chemical odor wafts over and in the water
Crisp air cools wet wears
Then reddened faces find respite
Dusty pairs of padding feet
In high summer dusky heat
Nature preaches – cicadas
Sermonizing to a setting sun
Squealing ardor under
Shaking pine and sycamore
and fountainous laughter carving out
An exquisite palace of time.

Eternity entering then,
eternity entering now.
