Taking a Nap

The bright sun
Shines down 
Like I haven’t ever seen

water drips
I lounge
Sipping coffee lazily

She sits there
I’ve found 
Someone to go with me 

Long napping 
I’m bound
To wake up eventually 

But for here
For now 
My soul rests contentedly
